The trio Monsieur Doumanie comes from Cyprus, complete with tsouras, trombone, flute and guitar. With these instruments, the trained musicians present fresh, exciting folk music which is rooted in the traditional music of their home country. They sing in Cypriot dialect, about topics which move Cypriot society in the 21st century: financial crisis, corruption, environmental pollution and social wrongs.
