street stage

Apply until 20 June 2025 for the street stage

Once again this year, street musicians have the opportunity to become an official program item at the classic Bardentreffen festival from 1 to 3 August in Nuremberg's city centre. The application period for a performance on the street music stage in front of the Sparda Bank branch in Karolinenstraße starts immediately. We look forward to receiving numerous applications by June 20, 2025!

You can't get any closer to the music

Musicians from the fields of global pop or singer-songwriting are very welcome, as are choirs or vocal groups. A total of 17 time slots will be allocated, with a maximum performance time of 60 minutes (including set-up and dismantling). Performances will be acoustic, a loudspeaker system is not available. If required, you can bring your own battery-powered amplifier. All proceeds during the performance (e.g. a “donation hat”) remain entirely with the musicians.

Information about the performance
  1. The street stage is an unplugged stage. It must be played acoustically. Battery-operated full-range loudspeakers with up to 50 watts per individual musician or group are permitted and must be brought along if required.
  2. The stage size is 4 x 3 metres. If there is not enough space (e.g. for a choir), it is possible to stand in front of the stage.
  3. Groups with vocals or choirs/vocal groups are particularly welcome.
  4. Musicians should contact the stage manager about 15 minutes before their performance.
  5. Each performance has a duration of 60 minutes, including set-up and dismantling
  6. GEMA lists can be handed in to the stage personnel after the performance.
  7.  Costs for travel or accommodation cannot be reimbursed.
  8. You can pass a “hat” or sell your CDs in front of the stage after the concert. The earnings are 100%.
