Ayom (BRA/POR)

There is Brazil in the voices of world music group, Forró Mior, and there are Mediterranean melodies in their hands, while they follow in African footsteps with South American rhythms. And they get this music style of Forró, this passion for a dynamic mix of Cumbia, Milonga, Swing, Samba and Latin Jazz, to rise enticingly and float through the air. For their Ayom project, they are accompanied by Afro-Brazilian singer and composer, Jabu Morales. She gives this harmonious labour of love a sound which expands horizons.
