Fanta Panda (GER)

Frauke from Tripping the Light Fantastic and Mawe from Mikrofisch first met over ten years ago in a backing band for Duglas T. Stewart. Their shared penchant for cheap mini keyboards, so-called "portables", led to a collaboration that eventually resulted in Fanta Panda and the download single "Aspen". Fanta Panda were in no particular hurry and so it took three years until the first concert and another three years until the completion of their debut album "Portables". On it, Fanta Panda, now a Franconian-Hanseatic long-distance relationship, span three decades, from 1980s synthiepop to 1990s indiepop and 2000s indietronics.
