Celso Piña (MEX)

Mexican singer, composer and accordion player, Celso Piña, has done great pioneering work. He is one of the musicians who revolutionised Vallenato and Cumbia, and thus contributed to the spread of these originally Colombian styles to all of Latin America and all over the world. He mixes this tropical sound with Mexican popular music, ska, reggae, hiphop, R&B, and when the “accordion rebel” hits the keys and plays with his band, they raise the roof.
