Fanfaraï (MAR/FRA)

Fanfaraï picks up on the tradition of Algerian street bands which used to play on holidays. The musicians have extended their range by adding brass instruments and enriched their repertoire with the sounds of Salsa, Latin and Jazz. The French band describes its cheerful sound as „the most atypical wind music from the Maghreb“, and with both their music and their vivacious show they have rapidly made their way from the street to the stage.
