Tuuletar (FIN)

Tuuletar named themselves after the wind goddess from Finnish mythology. The name fits, for since 2012, the four excellent singers have stirred up the folk scene like a fresh new breeze. The tempestuous ladies help themselves to elements from the rich Finnish folk tradition, but also from classical music, pop, electronic music and choral speaking and use all that to fashion their “vocal folk hop”.
