Tim Liebert (GER)

Tim Liebert, avowed folklorist and one of the most active representatives of the Thuringian-Saxon folk scene, is “on shore leave” with German songs. His spectrum comprises lansquenets’ and journeymen’s songs as well as settings of poems by Ringelnatz and rock songs with a folklore slant. In all this, the enthusiastic multi-instrumentalist builds on his 20 years of experience in various genres, such as bluegrass, Celtic music and American folk.
