Che Sudaka (ARG/COL)

The band’s name contains the word “che” which functions as an exclamation mark. In Spanish, “che” is used to attract the listener’s attention. “Sudaka” means “immigrants”. Founded in Barcelona in 2002, the world music quartet consists exclusively of musicians who came to Spain without papers. Today they identify themselves with their mix of Latin-American folk, Jamaican rhythms, dashes of Punk and electronic playfulness.
