Somewhere Underwater (FRA/GER)

The former solo project of a boy loving from afar has meanwhile become a band whose members share a love of early Sarah Records bands and 80s heartbreak hits. Their album “Slowly & Safely” is an introspective of being far away from childhood memories and teenage angst, friends and family. With influences from the Noise Pop of our youth and a touch of the Surf Pop from the scratchy records of their parents, the band’s songs try to preserve memories and longing, and to transport their atmosphere to the present day.
