Stefan Sterzinger is no Danube doctor, rather an anarchic apothecary who in his acerbic, poisonous, devious Viennese songs makes up entertaining prescriptions – for example recommending “Chastity and Humility in the Time of Cholera”. As “poet with a squeezebox”, he has made a formidable name for himself, as a theatre maker and storytelling hoodlum, in the cultural filling stations of his hometown which is by no means lacking in night spots for Bohemians.
