L'Alba like to say that Corsican musical tradition is not rigid, but always on the move. And the sextet certainly have contributed to that. While keeping the heritage of polyphonic singing, the musicians are open to contemporary elements from Folk and Jazz as well as to influences from Arab and Northern African countries, from Italy, Greece, Portugal, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
