Loxandra Ensemble (GRE)

The name is no coincidence. Like Loxandra, the heroine of a Greek novel known for her culinary skill, the ensemble from Thessaloniki collect many different ingredients and mix them, until they find the perfect mix for dreaming and dancing. This is the successful recipe followed by the Folk Fusion band: traditional Greek and Balkan folk songs, nicely seasoned with Jazz, Blues, Bollywood and Rumba, served up by excellent musicians and singer, Ria Ellinidou, whose stirring singing floats above everything.
