Raphael Kestler (GER)

29-year-old Raphael Kestler has spent two thirds of his life performing on stage. As a 10-year-old boy, he briefly sang in the Windsbach Boys’ Choir, later on studied classical singing at the Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum in Augsburg and trained as a music therapist in Berlin. In his song-writing he follows his own path between classical music and pop and has developed his own language which manages to put the private and the political right next to each other.
