Le Cri Du Caire (EGY)

In the music project Le Cri du Carie (Cry from Cairo), the captivating voice of the Egyptian singer and poet Abdullah Miniawy meets the saxophone of Peter Corser and the cello of Karsten Hochapfel. Where Sufi poetry, jazz and spoken word come together in this way, an intense, deeply moving world of sound opens up that seems to be out of this world.
