Fleurs Noires (FRA/ARG)

Fleurs Noires is a 10-strong women’s orchestra comprising exclusively musicians from France and Argentina. Some came from classical music, others from Pop, and together they perform a powerful contemporary Tango which demonstrates its many diverse roots. Fleurs Noires have revived the historical Paris-Buenos Aires line by breaking with tradition and also questioning the role of women in this music originally made by men. All this results in a fresh, cheeky and first-class Tango.
