In Ukraine, the word for stork is Leléka. It is a symbol of spring and happiness. Like the bird which moves from North to South with the seasons, this young transcultural Berlin quartet is at home in two worlds. They delight their audiences with moving songs which have their present in the Jazz of the modern age, but their roots in the Folk of Ukraine. And there’s a reason for that: their phenomenal singer, Viktoria Leléka, comes from Ukraine, just like special guest Maksym Berezhnyuk.
