Cimarrón (COL)

In the Orinoko plains “Cimarrón” is a word for a wild bull or wild horse. For the members of the world-famous ensemble of the same name, these animals stand for freedom in music. Powerful and tempestuous, that’s Cimarrón’s music. An unusual mix of Andalucian, indigenous and African elements, rough ethnic singing, percussive stomp dancing and vivacious strings.
